YEP/IEEE Innovation Challenge

YEP/IEEE Innovation Challenge

is a result of a partnership created in 2016 between the IEEE and Youth Employment Project in B&H (YEP BiH).

The partnership resulted in 13 innovations beeing presented at the 2016 IEEE Student and Young Professional Congress by teams from 8 faculties from all around the country. The jury selected the best ideas and after the Congress the IEEE and YEP continiued working with the teams to further develop their ideas with the ultimate goal of turning them into functioning businesses.

With the last Innovation Challenge, we created two start-ups, and this year we want to achieve even more. Every team that applied for the Innovation Challenge has the opportunity to go through a CEFE certified training for entrepreneurs organized by our partner YEP. YEP has years of experience in helping young entrepreneurs start up their businesses and with their expertise in that field, combined with the technical knowledge and support IEEE offers, we hope to light the fire of innovation among students from Bosnia and Herzegovina and support new innovations during and after this year’s Congress.
